Faux Finishing
Another way to make your home beautiful can be to add a faux finish. There are many types of techniques available to enhance a bare wall's appearance to a piece of trim. Among the possibilities are rag rolling, sponging, wood graining, antiquing, clouding, color washing, dragging, frottage, marbling, mottling, stippling, wall art, polished plaster, borders, stenciling, and many others. Through the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America, we have access to people who specialize in all of these techniques and fantasy painting and trompe l'oeil. We will do the base coats and many of the finishes, but for some, we will bring in the best people in the area to do their specialty.
